A sample project has been started in the previous session where the team has tested one of the functionalities of a web application. The project continues with automation. Selenium IDE has been installed and activated in the beginning.

Then the actions done on the web page has been recorded and played back. There were some failures but it need not be due to a bug in the application. Failure can occur due to entering wrong data or with the fault of automation tool. How to identify the real culprit is one of the most important lessons taught in this session
